First complete bake

Although I have baked many a cake before my partner is crime (aka my mum/business partner) is the main decorator. So imagine my panic when she ended up in a sling this week whilst we had a cake due to go out. First thing you should know is that the only other cake I have decorated completely on my own was at a cake class. This time I was apprehensive but quite excited to get free reign on a cake. I did have a few teething problems but managed to sort it all out and this is the outcome. I'm so pleased to be able to say that this is my first complete from scratch cake I've ever finished.

hi guys: cake update

hi guys so it has been a while but i wanted to let you know that i have been a bit of a busy bee baking away.

In the Claire's Cake Creation kitchen we have been making lots of lovely and delicious cakes so i thought i would pop on and share some pictures and news.

My youtube channel

2 weeks ago i started creating my new youtube channel in which i intend to show you guys some of the work that i do baking my cakes. My new channel is www.youtube.com/clairebakes so please do go check it out...

on other news our newest venture is cakepops we have been trying out some recipes to see what we can come up with... some of them have tasted amazing and others not so good... but as you know its all about trial and error and you have to make mistakes to find perfection lol

so today im going off to try and recreate a cinderella carriage cake... this should be fun and if it works out i will try and show you a picture lol
